Intellectual Property

Legend is the rightful owner of the music collection on the Legend website. Legend owns all intellectual property rights to all music and shall protect its rights accordingly. Legend music is neither copyright free nor is it royalty free. All free music in the Legend collection on the website is registered with YouTube’s Content ID for copyright protection.  

 

Legend only authorizes the use of its free music for personal videos. Legend does not authorize use of its free music for commercial, corporate, ads, radio, or television. 

 

User Rights and Responsibilities

Any party (User) may use the free music from Legend collection as long as User adheres to the followings:

User may not monetize their YouTube videos is which Legend music is used.

User may use Legend music for personal use ONLY.

User does NOT need to credit Legend when using its music.

As copyright owner, Legend has the right to the following actions:

 

• Block a whole video being viewed.

• Monetize the video by running ads against it.

• Track the video’s viewership statistics.

• Clearing the claim and taking no further action.

• Muting the audio that matches their music.

 

Legend has the right to decide whether it clears the claim of copyright to the video or not, even if the video author identifies Legend as copyright owner of the music. Legend has the right to block the use of its music for any reason, especially if in its opinion; Legend finds the content in the video, objectionable, due to graphic content, violence, language or sexual content.

Author of the video using Legend’s free music authorizes Legend to use the video for its promotional and marketing purposes without any compensation.

 

Typographical

In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price Legend reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Legend reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Legend shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or music selection process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Legend without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.
